Baby Apples
Easily one of my favorite desktop wallpapers because, my
backyard is my personal sanctuary with two trees, an apple tree
and a plum tree. The colors in this shot goes beautifully well
with most color schemes, and is just bright enough and vivid for
both day and night use. This shot helps me relax. It probably
even promotes well thinking.

Barb wired fence
One of my favorite roads to drive in Antioch. It's a
secondary road that connects the town of Clayton, Oakley,
Brentwood and the city of Antioch. This particular stretch of
road has a wonderful valley where you can watch the sun rise and
fall. It makes me wonder what the area was like one or two hundred years ago.
Bay Area
If you're an ex-patriot of the San Francisco Bay Area then,
you'll probably dig this view of downtown on a nice calm
afternoon. If you're easily homesick, you
probably don't want to use this as a wallpaper. lol
New life
Who doesn't like wondering what life is like on other
planets? Do they exist? Are they anything like us? Do they have
YouTube? haha. What could have possibly emerged from these
shells, and dig that alien landscape.
Pine cones
Another one of my favorites. My favorite colors are
primarily earth colors and this close-up shot of pine cones is
perfect for any mood, day or night. In fact, it's my wallpaper
right now. I like certain patterns, and this is certainly one of
them that satisfies my eye. Thanks Mother Nature!
Racketball
If you're a racquetball player then this surreal shot of
the court will easily be your top choice for a desktop
wallpaper. I'll bet you can hear the sound of the ball echoing
right now as you sit back and catch your breath as you gulp on
your ice-cold bottled water. What a workout!
Rays of light
I
love walking a cool trail with twisty little dirt paths. It's
free therapy! It's rare for me to see rays of light peeking through the tree branches.
So, I had to take a shot of this scene, and turn it into a wallpaper.
It brings me back every time I have it up.
Red tree flower
Nature in your face! This is a peculiar tree that has thin
branches reaching down towards you bearing a colorful little
bouquet of red flowery stuff on the ends! As if they are daring you to reach
up, and get close enough to smell something very nice and
pleasant.
Strands
This close-up shot is another of my favorites. This peculiar
arrangement of plant vines reminded me of something scientific,
medical. So, I changed the orientation to landscape did a little
manip in photoshop and what I see now are fibers, veins,
arteries. I love the soft yellow and how it stands out against
the background. Very nice on the eyes.
Rock city
They call this place, Rock City. This particular rock is
huge with the city of Concord right behind in the distant horizon.
Around me are more of the same. Big rocks! In fact, I'm
standing on one. I couldn't resist climbing after my
kids. They love this place. It's a good climb, so, be careful. Once you're
standing on top, the view is breathtaking. The scary part is climbing back down. LOL
Spider webs
Now, you're probably wondering, what on earth? Any of you
big kids that remember being little with a fascination for all
things spiders, this is the wallpaper for you. Looks like an ole
familiar stomping ground don't it? Whenever I have it up as a wallpaper,
it seems like an alien landscape with a big hairy turantula in charge of
all that micro territory. Don't mess wit da boss! It bites! Be glad you're
not a weetle bug. hehe
Butterflies
My biggest favorite. hehe. Since someone already invented the
phrase, "butterflies in my stomach", I thought I'd create my graphical
rendering of what that might look like. You can see a modified example
of it on my Twitter page .
Sheck it out brethren!
Red cascade
Macro photography of a "insert guess here". Certain
individuals with certain astrological signs love the color red.
Red symbolizes many things for these earth creatures. A certain
mood of mine loves this as a wallpaper. Hopefully, you will too
:)
